Private swimming lessons in Singapore

Lessons booked only for you or your family, at a pool that suits you, with a Swim2u coach who plans around your goals.

A private swimming lesson means the session is booked only for you, your child, or your own group. Nobody else joins. It can be strictly 1-to-1, or a private group of two or three family members or friends. You choose the pool, and the coach plans every lesson around your goals.

Who private lessons suit

  • Adults starting from zero who'd rather not learn in front of others (adult lessons)
  • Children who are nervous, easily distracted, or need a slower pace (kids lessons)
  • Families who want lessons at their own condo pool
  • Swimmers working on specific technique, such as freestyle breathing
  • Learners with a deadline, such as a school test or a holiday

Private lessons don't automatically mean faster results. They give more correction time; progress still depends on attendance, comfort in water and practice. For the full comparison, read private vs group swimming lessons.

Private swimming lesson prices

Swim2u's published 1-to-1 rates for a block of four lessons are $280 for kids, $320 for adults and $360 for ladies. A private pair costs $190 to $220 per person depending on the programme. Every rate, and what affects it, is on the swimming lesson fees page.

Choosing a private swim coach

Ask about the coach's certifications, experience with your age group and how they handle fear of water. Swim2u matches coaches to learners and can arrange a female instructor for ladies' lessons. Swim2u is an SSI Swim Center and AUSTSWIM certified swim centre.
